There is finally some good news being put out there about British singer Amy Winehouse. She is back working in studio with producer Mark Ronson. He`s the brains behind the enormously successful Back to Black album which came out four years ago. It is on many Top 10 album charts of the last decade.
Now, far from all those scandals revolving around booze, drugs, arrests, disturbing the peace and unstable relationships, Winehouse is working on a follow-up album. This album catapulted her to the top of the charts when it was released.
As if to prove how serious she is about this project, the singer bought the apartment in which she is currently working in North London. She named it The Slammer. Ironically, the studio is located just across from Pentonville Prison, a place that has sometimes hosted Pete Doherty, a British singer struggling with the same kind of notoriety offstage as Winehouse.
No release date has been given for Amy Winehouse`s new album.
